The next step is to use the pathfinding toolkit in Generogue to improve creatures. Right now, they use scent tracking and stupidly stack on each other when they reach the player.

The goal is to keep using scent tracking when the player is not visible, but turn to A* pathfinding when he’s in sight, so that a creature can turn around a blocking creature to reach the player.
