The python samples now work with python 2.6, 2.7.3 and 3.2.3. Some things might be broken for 2.6/2.7 users. Please report issues by commenting here, by mail or in the dedicated thread :

For python 3.2 users :

  • all strings must be passed as bytes ( b’my game’ instead of ‘my game’), except for the console_print_* functions that handle utf-8 strings
  • float cannot be used as an int parameter. Be sure to use integer division where needed (a//b instead of a/b)

Compile the latest version of libtcod from bitbucket : http://bitbucket.org/jice/libtcod/
